The active case count of COVID-19 has dropped slightly since the last update in Saline County.

According to the health department’s dashboard, as of Tuesday, September 7, there were 126 active cases, down from 134 on Sunday, September 5.

There have been 73 COVID-19-related deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

In all, there have been 3,624 total confirmed positive cases and 445 probable cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

There have been 104 positive cases in the last week and 168 in the last two weeks.

By age group, the positive number of cases: 655 in Under 20 age group; 601 in 20 to 29; 551 in 30 to 39; 484 in 40 to 49; 481 in 50 to 59; 411 in 60 to 69; 262 in 70 to 79; and 179 in 80-plus.
