A Parker, Arizona man facing multiple felony charges relating to a car-jacking and high-speed pursuit incident in Johnson County, has been identified as the suspect in Pettis County regarding a home invasion  in Sedalia, and a possible homicide in Arkansas.

According to a probable-cause statement, Daryl Jason Scarbrough is alleged to have unlawfully entered another person’s residence; forcibly stole a vehicle while being armed with and exhibiting a pistol. Scarbrough also allegedly led law-enforcement officers on a high-speed pursuit through the streets of Warrensburg.

On September 4, Pettis County Sheriff released a statement regarding a suspect in a home invasion being sought after a resident in Sedalia was allegedly assaulted. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ or 5’9″, with multiple tattoos, and light colored short hair or balding.

The Pettis County Sheriff says this incident resulted in the Sedalia Police Department’s involvement in the manhunt, alongside Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.

On September 6, Sheriff Anders was able to gain access to a GPS tracker on a stolen vehicle, that was believed to be associated with Scarbrough. The GPS tracker located the vehicle in Little Rock, Arkansas – traveling east towards Memphis.

According to a statement from Anders, on September 7, Warrensburg Police Department, Sedalia Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office convened for a brief, where Warrensburg Police suggested Scarbrough is a possible suspect in the home invasion incident.

On Friday, Pulaski County, Arkansas authorities were conducting a homicide investigation, in which Scarbrough allegedly matched the description of the suspect. Arkansas authorities were able to locate Scarbrough and conducted an arrest.

Anders says Scarbrough will be extradited to Pettis or Johnson County following Pulaski County’s homicide investigation.
