A 51-year-old Sweet Springs man has been charged with sex-related felonies involving a woman for a reported incident on September 12, 2021.

According to a probable-cause statement, authorities were summoned to a Sweet Springs residence, and a woman alleged Robert Lee Lamb touched her inappropriately and engaged in sexual intercourse with her. After investigating, Lamb was arrested.

According to court documents, Lamb is charged with three sex-related felonies, including rape in the second degree. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Lamb’s initial appearance is set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, at Saline County Circuit Court.
