Area authorities have issued a Be On The Lookout (B.O.L.O.) alert for a suspect.

According to the Concordia Police Department, at approximately 5:11 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, a Concordia officer responded to Highway 23 and Route CC to assist Johnson County with a vehicle pursuit.

The Concordia officer successfully spiked the vehicle, but it continued to go north on Highway 23, west on Minuteman Road and south on Cook Store Road. The pursuit ended at Concordia Lake and Cook Store Roads, however the suspect took off on foot from the vehicle.

Johnson County attempted to track the suspect with a K-9 but was unsuccessful. At this time, authorities still have not found the suspect. Authorities do not have a description of or the identity of the suspect at this time.

Authorities say, if you live in that area and see someone who seems out of place or their behavior seems suspicious, you are urged to contact Central Dispatch at (660) 463-2140. If it’s an emergency, they say call 9-1-1.
