The Marshall Police Department responded to a call at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Monday from Marshall Public Schools regarding a man who allegedly boarded a school bus on south Salt Pond Avenue and would not exit the bus.

According to a press release, officers arrived on scene and were able to remove the subject from the school bus. However, once the bus began to drive off the man made an attempt to board the moving bus.

Authorities say, officers then physically detained the man due to his erratic behavior and for his safety and others.

Saline County Ambulance was contacted to transport the man to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment and evaluation.
