
A Fayette man has been charged with a couple of felonies following the report of a stolen all-terrain vehicle.
According to a Fayette Police Department report, the ATV was reported stolen on September 16. On September 17, Teddy Lee Jefferson was reported driving the ATV. When he was located by authorities, they say Jefferson drove off into a field and had to be apprehended in the field off of Highway 124.
According to court documents, Jefferson is charged with felonies for tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and resisting arrest, detention or stop by fleeing. Bond is fixed at $20,000 cash only.
Jefferson’s initial hearing is pending at Howard County Circuit Court.
