An Odessa man who has been formally charged with a couple of felonies following a reported incident on September 6 is due in court.

According to the Odessa Police Department, officers received a report from family members of two different child victims of alleged sexual abuse and sodomy during the evening and overnight hours of September 5 and September 6. Allegedly, the two victims were provided alcoholic drinks, forced to watch pornography and subjected to sexual acts of sodomy by the suspect.

During an interview, the suspect reportedly confessed to authorities.

According to court documents, Robert Lloyd Triplet is charged with two counts of a felony for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy and a misdemeanor for supplying liquor to a minor. Triplet is being held without bond.

Triplet, who pleaded not guilty on September 8, is scheduled for a counsel-status hearing at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
