
A jury trial has been rescheduled in the case of a Marshall man facing felony charges after an alleged assault to a farm hand in February 2020.
During the morning hours of February 28, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in regards to an assault that had taken place on a farm facility just south of Marshall Junction where the victim reportedly suffered fractures and facial trauma as a result of the assault at the hands of Aaron Smith.
Smith is charged with a Class B Felony for Assault in the First Degree.
A two-day jury trial was scheduled for Wednesday, October 6. However, Smith’s trial has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. March 30, 2022
