Phoebe Jones, 78, of Marshall, died Tuesday, September 14,  at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 1, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 1, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Susan G. Born September 14, 1943, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late George D. Parker and Margaret Suggett Parker.  Phoebe lived in Marshall her entire life and was a 1961 graduate of Marshall High School.  On August 1, 1965, she married Garnett “G.G.” Jones who preceded her in death on July 10, 2008.  Phoebe loved her career working as a licensed real estate agent and was a member of the Missouri Realtor’s Association.  She was a very active member of the community and a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include three children: Jennifer Joyce (Ken) of Overland Park, KS, Joann Wolters of Marysville, MI, and Jeff Jones (Kendra) of Lee’s Summit, MO; eight grandchildren; her sidekick, Cooper (her dog); as well as other extended family.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
