
A 44-year-old Marshall man had to be flown from the scene of a traffic crash in Saline County on Tuesday, September 28.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Michael Robinson, began to slow down for a turn at a median crossover. A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Jill Nobis began to skid after braking and struck the rear of Robinson’s vehicle.
Upon impact Robinson’s vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and came to rest on its side. Nobis’ vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and came to rest in the median. Robinson’s passenger, Bradley McCracken of Marshall, was flown by Life Flight Air Ambulance to St. Lukes Hospital in Chesterfield.
Robinson suffered minor injuries and was transported Fitzgibbon Hospital. Nobis suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS.
The crash happened at 1:30 p.m. on southbound U.S. Highway 65 at 165th Road.
