The Chariton County Health Center located at 206 State Street in Keytesville is scheduled to hold a flu-shot clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12.

According to health center officials, if you have private insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, your insurance will be billed; and as long as the flu shot is covered under your plan, you will not be charged.

You can choose to pay for the flu shot if you do not want your insurance to be billed, and the cost will be $25 for non-high-dose flu vaccine and $50 for the high-dose flu vaccine. Cards need to be presented at the time of service.

No appointment is necessary, and clients will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
