A store on the Marshall Square is still assessing damages after a vehicle crashed into the front of it on Friday, October 1.
According to a Marshall Police Department spokesperson, at about 7:45 a.m., a woman approximately 70 years of age was driving on the square, and when she went to pull into a parking space in the east side, she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The vehicle jumped the curb and smashed into the front of M-Town Graphics.
The woman was transported by Saline County Ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital for evaluation.
A spokesperson for M-Town Graphics said the business probably will not be open today, and they will reassess the situation later today.
