A 48-year-old La Monte man charged with a felony for allegedly being in possession of child pornography has a court proceeding scheduled.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy arrested 48-year-old Christopher A. Gardner on June 28.

Court documents say Gardner is charged with felonies for Possession of Child Pornography and First-Degree Statutory Sodomy- Victim Under the Age of 12. Bond is set at $250,000 cash or surety.

Gardner was arraigned on June 29. His next hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 4, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
