A Sedalia man who was arrested on August 24 and charged with felonies is due in court this week.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, it took a theft report in the 1100 block of South State Fair Boulevard. The victim reported that someone stole several items from his unlocked vehicle, including multiple credit and debit cards and cash.

The next day, Crime Resolution Unit officers were able to locate the suspect during a vehicle check.

According to court documents, Tanner J. Leary is charged with felonies for stealing and fraudulent use of a debit or credit device. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The case was bound over to the trial division, and Leary is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 4, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
