Two persons were killed Sunday, October 3, following an aircraft crash northwest of Warrensburg. Both were occupants of an ultralight aircraft.

According to the Johnson County Fire Protection District, Stations 1, 5 and 7 responded at 10:07 a.m. to a rural area near Hazel Hill Lake where witnesses observed the aircraft crash.

Names of the victims have not been released at this time.
