A project to bring a smoother driving surface to three rural routes in north-central Missouri is scheduled to begin next week.
A press release says the Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Capital Paving, Inc. to complete the $1,395,203.74 project.
Each route will receive partial-depth patching and a surface leveling overlay, followed by shoulder rock and striping. The contractor plans to begin Monday, October 11, with partial-depth patching on Carroll County Route V. Work also is scheduled to take place on Route O in Carroll County and on Route M in Chariton County.
All work is expected to be complete in early November.
Workers will be present during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, weather permitting. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide motorists through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place on all three routes for the duration of the project.
All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
