An area government is alerting drivers about an event going on that will affect traffic flow on Friday, October 8.

The City of Odessa says it’s Homecoming in Bulldog Country, and the annual Homecoming Parade is scheduled.

School will be released early, and the city anticipates additional vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

City officials say, “Please use caution and patience when getting around town. The parade line up begins at 12:45 p.m. around the school campuses. The parade will begin at 1:30 at the intersection of 2nd Street (MO-131) and College Street.”
