A Warrensburg man is facing felony charges after the report of a domestic disturbance on September 17 in Johnson County.

According to a probable-cause statement, a woman alleges Roger Dale Iman assaulted her by striking her with a stick. After she took away the stick, she said Iman pulled out a knife and held it against her throat. When she tried to get the knife away from her neck area, she suffered a laceration to her hand. The law-enforcement officer observed the woman with a large laceration to her hand and small one that didn’t draw blood on her throat.

According to court documents, Iman is charged with felonies for domestic assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon- exhibiting. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.

Iman pleaded not guilty on September 20. His case was bound over to the trial division, and he is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
