An area police department may have the chance to be awarded a five-figure K9 Grant. However, whether it receives a grant or not depends on you.

The Marshall Police Department has announced a $25,000 K9 Grant is scheduled to be awards to agencies with the highest votes on Aftermath’s website. The Aftermath Grant is awarded to law enforcement agencies and first responders in the United States and the District of Columbia.

Officials say individuals can vote once every 24-hours per device through Tuesday, October 26. Votes will be tallied after the close of the Grant and the winning law enforcement agencies will be announced Thursday, October 28.
