More than a dozen area high school students attended a leadership in Kansas City earlier this month.

According to a press release, 15 members and two advisers traveled to Worlds of Fun for the FBLA Show-Me Leadership Conference on October 9.

A keynote presentation on marketing, management, food and beverage service, recruitment and safety from park executives gave an inside perspective on how Worlds of Fun operates and its career opportunities. In addition, members expanded their leadership network and connected with fellow FBLA leaders from across the state.

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA-PBL helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business. The mission of FLBA-PBL is to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
