
The state-run Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Center located on Bothwell Regional Health Center’s third floor will end Saturday, October 23.
According to the hospital in Sedalia, the center offers treatment for people with a positive COVID-19 result and who have had onset of symptoms within the last 10 days. The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. this week until it closes.
People may call the center’s referral number at (660) 829-6647 to be screened for potential treatment that can prevent severe illness and hospitalization. There is no cost for this treatment.
People who have had a high-risk exposure to a COVID-19 positive person should speak with their provider about receiving treatment since they may also be eligible.
On Monday, October 25, Bothwell will begin administering monoclonal antibody infusions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday on 2 North. People who test positive for COVID-19 can call (660) 829-8830 to be screened for treatment. Close contacts to a positive person will need a referral from their provider. An administration fee for the treatment will be charged.
