Following the 2021 Slater Fall Festival, the Slater City Council met Tuesday, October 19, to discuss the successful event and other fall-related business.

Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri has issued a reminder residents to avoid burning leaves in the streets.

Mayor Allegri says burning materials on the streets will result in melted asphalt and persons being ticketed.
