A 33-year-old Sedalia man is facing multiple felony charges after a reported disturbance on October 11.

According to a Sedalia Police report, the resident who reported the incident said somebody was trying to get into his residence and a gun was somehow involved. Upon arrival, one man was seen holding another man on the ground. One man accused the other of pointing at gun at him. The officer located the pistol inside the residence, and there were two rounds of ammunition in the magazine and one in the chamber. Christopher Hart was handcuffed at the scene.

According to court documents, Hart is charged with felonies for unlawful use of a weapon- exhibiting; assault in the third degree; and armed criminal action. Bond has not been set yet.

Hart’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
