Staff members at the Missouri State Museum invite the public to join the Missouri Monster in its lair for some Halloween fun at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 30, on the Missouri State Museum Facebook page: facebook.com/MissouriStateMuseum.

A news release says museum staff will be reading traditional American scary stories from Alvin Schwartz’s “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” as well as some Ozarks-based stories and the story of Missouri’s own Bigfoot-like cryptid, the Missouri Monster.
