
The active COVID-19 case count continues to diminish in Saline County.
According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, the active COVID-19 case count decreased from 49 on Friday, October 15, to 40 on Tuesday, October 26.
The COVID-19-related death count remains 77 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There have been 4,268 total positive cases- up from 4,162 at last report- which includes 3,501 confirmed and 767 probable cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 29 positives in the last week and 61 positives in the last two weeks.
The total positive case count includes: 839 persons in the zero to 20 age group; 701 in 20 to 29; 672 in 30 to 39; 559 in 40 to 49; 545 in 50 to 59; 464 in 60 to 69; 301 in 70 to 79; and 187 in 80-plus.
Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
