Another COVID-19-related death has been reported in Saline County.

According to the Saline County Health Department’s COVID-19 Dashboard, as of Tuesday, November 2, 78 people in the county have died from the virus- up one from October 26.

However, the active case count is down from 40 on October 26 to 22.

There have been 4,219 total positive cases- which includes 3,453 confirmed and 766 probable cases- since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 17 positives in the last week and 45 positives in the last two weeks.

Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
