
ENDANGERED SILVER ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED: (8:19 a.m. November 6): An update from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says Alice Main has been located and is safe.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory in connect to a missing person in Saline County.
Authorities are asking for help in locating 80-year-old Alice Main, who was reported missing at 74-mile marker on I-70 (westbound) at 9:12 p.m. Friday, November 5.
Authorities say Main is described as a white female, 5-foot-9, 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, red blazer, jeans and an unknown color stocking cap.
According to the issued advisory, a family member was on the phone with Main when a male subject started talking – stating that Main was at the 74 mile marker. Main then called and said she was run off the roadway and was unable to get the car to move. Family members has been unable to get a hold of Main since.
If anyone has any information to the whereabouts of Main or have seen a Black Nissan Altima bearing a Texas plate, you are urged to contact 9-1-1, or call the Saline County Sheriff’s Department at (660) 886-5511.
