
A Boonville resident who has been charged with a felony for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that caused injuries to another person on May 12 in Cooper County is due in court.
According to a report from a Boonville Police officer, Treyvon Korte was the driver of a vehicle that struck a juvenile male and threw him to the ground. Korte then accelerated and fled the scene without stopping to check on the boy.
Court documents say Korte is charged with a felony for leaving the scene of an accident- physical injury.
Korte pleaded not guilty on June 29, and his case was bound over to the trial division on October 26. His is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Monday, November 8, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
