Some roadwork is scheduled to take place in Carroll and Chariton Counties this week.

According to MoDOT, in Carroll County, resurfacing projects are scheduled on Routes O and V through early November. The projects are being contracted with Capital Paving & Construction, LLC.

Shoulder repair is scheduled on U.S. Highway 65 from County Road 220 to County Road 224 all this week.

Route Z- from Route C to County Road 217- remains closed until further notice due to damage caused by a roadway slide and ongoing geological studies. A repair project is being designed and currently is scheduled for a February 2022 letting.

In Chariton County, a resurfacing project is scheduled on Route M through early November. The project also is being contracted with Capital Paving & Construction, LLC.

All roadwork is weather permitting.
