A couple of Lafayette County school districts are urging patrons to fill out a survey regarding broadband. They say, “The Lafayette County government wants to bring fiber-optic broadband internet to your neighborhood.”
Wellington-Napoleon R-9 School District officials ask: “Are you satisfied with the performance of the internet at your home or business? Please help Lafayette County in assessing current service in the County by completing a brief broadband survey.”
They add, “We also encourage you to complete the speed test via the link at the bottom of the survey. The results of this test will give us additional data that may help getting fiber to your location faster.”
Lexington R-5 officials urge you to take your community to the next level.
They say, “Become part of the process by helping to evaluate Lafayette County’s broadband needs.”
Filling out the simple survey will help determine the county’s areas of high-speed internet needs.
District officials add, “Let your neighbors know to complete the survey as well. Broadband connectivity will help revitalize our communities, schools and spur economic development.”
