The 2021 managed hunt at Knob Noster State Park is complete, and more than 100 deer were harvested.

Park officials say 60 does, 26 button bucks and 15 bucks were successfully harvested from the very large deer population at the park.

Park officials add, “Removing these individuals from the population helps us to retain important native plants and prevent overpopulation of the deer.”
