An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 45-year-old Charles L. Morris is wanted for sexual assault – statutory sodomy charges and failure to appear for non-support violations. Morris is described as white and 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Morris is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
