Easterseals Midwest and Marshall Baby Grace are teaming up to host a Parent Cafe.

According to the organizations, Parent Cafes are based on the Strengthening Families Framework, and the Five Protective Factors- Resilience, Relationships, Knowledge, Support and Communication.

The Cafes are free parenting events with lunch provided. It is open to all parents and/or guardians.

At the cafes, parents will have meaningful, guided conversations about what matters most- their families and how to make them stronger.

The Parent Cafe in Marshall is scheduled to be held at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, at First United Methodist Church at 225 East Arrow Street in Marshall. No childcare will be provided, as this event is for adults only.

You need to preregister to attend, and the signup closes on Monday, November 15.

Immediately following the Parent Cafe, families can attend Baby Grace for a double-diaper day. From 1:30 to 5 p.m. every Thursday, Baby Grace hosts its regular diaper and baby wipes giveaway at the church.
