At the meeting of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works on Wednesday, November 10, water treatment and an update regarding the American Rescue Plan Act funds were discussed.

According to Water Treatment Director, Travis Boss, the weigh belt feeder on Slaker No. 3 is needing to be replaced.

The motion to purchase the weigh belt feeder using quotes was approved by the board. The budgeted amount is $40,000.

In other news, General Manager Jeff Bergstrom gave an update on ARPA funds.

MMU responded to a survey from MoDNR, which indicated approximately $400 million could be available for water and wastewater projects.
