
A California, Missouri man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Pettis County this morning.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a northbound vehicle driven by 46-year-old Jose Cardenas-Medina, experienced a medical event. His vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road, stuck a utility pole, continued through a field, struck several trees and went airborne before coming to rest in a field.
Cardenas was lifeflighted to the University of Missouri Hospital for treatments of minor injuries.
The crash happened at approximately 8:02 a.m. on Marshall Avenue, north of 28th Street in Sedalia.
