A 30-year-old Marshall man facing a felony charge for allegedly inappropriately touching a female juvenile last year is due in court this week.

According to a probable-cause statement, the alleged incident was reported by the child’s aunt on September 7, 2020. On September 10, the juvenile met with a Child Safe Investigator and described the incident in explicit detail.

Court documents say Lloyd Allan Daniel is charged with a felony for child molestation in the second degree. Bond remains at $50,000 cash or surety.

Daniel pleaded not guilty earlier this year. A Chapter 491 Hearing is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15; and a jury trial is scheduled to begin on March 9, 2022, at Saline County Circuit Court.
