
The active case count of COVID-19 has reached triple digits again in Pettis County.
According to the Pettis County Health Center, the active case count was 101 as of Monday, November 15.
The COVID-19-related death total increased by one to 105 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
There were 101 total positive cases from November 8 through 14, including 18 breakthrough cases- 11 Pfizer, six Moderna and one Johnson & Johnson- making the breakthrough rate 17.8 percent for the week. Breakthrough cases are persons who have tested positive for the virus after being fully vaccinated- their last shot being at least two weeks prior to testing positive.
In all, 7,607 total positive cases have been confirmed in the county, and eight persons currently are hospitalized.
The positivity rate for tests was 9.5 percent during the week.
