Several Boonville R-1 band students have earned District Honor Band recognition.

According to the district, Silver Pirate Band students earned membership in the West Central District Honor Band and Honorable Mention Band.

Approximately 325 students from 35 high schools auditioned for placement in these two prestigious ensembles. Nine Pirates made the Honor Band and two more the Honorable Mention Band.

Both bands will rehearse and perform in concert at the University of Central Missouri on January 7 and 8, 2022.

HONOR BAND:
Jordyn Williamson, clarinet;
Kate Schneringer, clarinet;
Arji Webster, clarinet;
Alexis Schnetzler, clarinet;
Elly Giroux, clarinet;
Aidan Prenger, clarinet;
Lindsey Lammers, clarinet;
Kyleigh Thacker, bass clarinet; and
Adam VanDyke, baritone saxophone.

HONORABLE MENTION BAND:
Makenley Goldman, clarinet; and
Peyton Monteer, trumpet.
