A 70-year-old Gulf Shores, Alabama, resident was flown from the scene of a rollover traffic crash in Pettis County on Tuesday, November 16.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by Charles Dodd, crested a hill, began skidding, overturned and ejected Dodd, who was not wearing a seat belt. Dodd came to rest in a ditch on the west side of the roadway.

Dodd was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.

The crash happened at 10:57 a.m. on Rattlesnake Hill Road, north of Muschaney Road.
