Concordia Main Street, Inc. has announced it is scheduled to host its fifth annual Main Street Christmas event, featuring a special tree lighting ceremony to kickoff the Christmas season.

Main Street Christmas is scheduled to be held at Concordia’s Central Park beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20 – with the Mayor’s Tree Lighting ceremony  scheduled at approximately 6 p.m.

According to the event flyer, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served, with Christmas crafts provided to kids; live music and Christmas Caroling will be present, along with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and friends.

Officials say individuals are welcome to take informal photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
