On Monday, November 15, the Sedalia School District 200 School Board extended the Thanksgiving break by two days. It now runs from Monday, November 22, through Friday, November 26.

According to the school district, Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri will offer daytime programming on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23.

According to Boys and Girls Clubs, to accommodate Sedalia School District 200’s new Thanksgiving break schedule, BGC will host two drop-in days next week. All Club Sites and the Administration Office will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

BGC in the basement of First Baptist Church will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Parents or guardians should send a sack lunch with the child. Milk and a snack will be provided.

The cost is $5 per child.
