The active COVID-19 case count remains more than 40 in Chariton County.

According to the Chariton County Health Department, nine new positive cases were added and six of the active cases were released from public health isolation as recovered on Wednesday, November 17.

There have been 1,249 total positive cases in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

Due to 1,187 of them being released from public health isolation and 18 COVID-19-related deaths, there are 44 active cases.
