An area police department has reported a theft from a construction site.

According to the Waverly Police Department, on Wednesday, November 17, a construction crew near the 200 block of Thomas Drive (behind CMAS) reported several items stolen overnight.

The items consisted of welding equipment, torch sets and over 750 feet of copper welding wire.

The police department also urges residents to “please be sure to keep items of value in a secure location, especially after dark. Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. We can work together to protect our community and address possible criminal activity before it occurs.”
