Saline County Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave an update on roadwork planned at Marshall Junction in the coming months during the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, November 18.

Fenner said commissioners met with MoDOT officials earlier this month.

Fenner gave details of the cost and schedule.

In other news from the meeting, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden was approved as an appointment as a primary member of the Transportation Advisory Council (TAC) to fill a vacant position. Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. was approved to serve as an alternate.
