On Thursday, November 18, the Orearville R-4 School hosted a Veterans’ Appreciation Day event.

According to information received from former Saline County Northern District Commissioner Charlie Guthrie, guest speakers included Gary Grigsby, Commander of the American Legion Department of Missouri, and USS Liberty survivor Bryce Lockwood. Several area veterans were on hand for the program.

Orearville school hosts an appreciation thanksgiving meal and program honoring veterans annually.
