A 57-year-old Sedalia man has been charged with a felony for allegedly entering another person’s residence without permission on November 9.

According to a probable-cause statement, a woman called authorities and reported a man she did not know was inside her residence, exposed himself and inappropriately touched her.

The suspect left before the arrival of authorities, so he was identified by looking at surveillance video. Also, the alleged victim identified the man in a photo array.

According to court documents, Robert Lee Hartman is charged with a felony for burglary in the first degree and a misdemeanor for sexual misconduct. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Hartman was arraigned via video on Wednesday, November 17. His next hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
