Individuals age 18 years and older who received the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are now eligible to get a booster dose – six months after completion of their primary vaccination series.

According to the CDC, persons may now choose between the Pfizer or Moderna booster shots. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix-and-match dosing for booster shots.
