
A 44-year-old Richmond resident charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile in Cooper County has a court proceeding scheduled for this week.
According to a Boonville Police report, Joseph Michael Lipscomb is alleged to have forced a 12-year-old girl to consume illegal drugs before he and another male engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with her on December 6, 2020.
Lipscomb pleaded not guilty on April 26 to felonies for child molestation in the first degree and abuse or neglect of a child less than 14 years old, sexual abuse or exploitation, rape or attempted rape in the first degree, sodomy or attempted sodomy in the first degree- aggravated sexual offenses and another sex-related felony. Bond remains at $500,000 cash or surety.
Lipscomb’s next is scheduled for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 22, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
According to court documents, charges against the second individual were dismissed.
