An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 24-year-old Gaylon E. Marshall is wanted for failure to appear- burglary. Marshall is described as African American and 5-foot-4 and 170 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Marshall is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
