
A 16-year-old Lexington resident was flown from the scene of an all-terrain vehicle crash in Ray County on Sunday, November 28.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a northbound Honda Rancher, driven by the teen, crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a fence and ejected the teen driver.
The teenager, who was not wearing a safety device, was flown by Life Flight Eagle Air Ambulance to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at 4:20 p.m. on Morton Road, north of East 120th Street.
